From the first moment. This is a lovely restaurant with a great warm inviting atmosphere. Rempah Iting is an Indonesian ribs-specialty restaurant that had just opened last year in Sarinah district. I went there with group of five as we were on business and thoroughly enjoyed our wonderful lunch. The place was perfect as it located somewhat into alleyway. A simple menu yet great taste. showing that they put in some effort to provide these delicious dishes. we chose to have their signature dishes.
Gurame Mangut (52K)
We love the fish very much, the staff told us this is their specialty. The fish was deep taste of spices and the crisp which is very good. The Tempting coconuty-not spicy-savoury taste was something very special for us.
Iga Bakar Rempah (39K)
Iga Bakar Rempah was surprisingly delicious. Very tasty, juicy and tender ribs.
Jamur Leleh Asin (15K)
It was one of the best dishes that day. Crispy mushroom stir with salted-egg-yolk flavor. The sauce was two thumbs up, can?? find anywhere else. A must order if you like salted-egg-yolk.
Nasi Bakar Iga (25K)
With its spices rice in wrapped, hiding ribs and fried onion inside, really an genuine inspired. the Nasi Bakar Iga was fragrant and so savory.
Sop Konro (52K)
The Sop Konro, beef consomme with tender ribs, takes hours to cook. During our tasting, the dish is light, not greasy compared to elsewhere, but it is a tad bland.
Juice Kedondong (20K)
The sweetness of the sour Kedondong made this drink a personal favorite.
